Our region combines plenty of green and sea with blue waters, switching sand and pebbles and spreading to Ancient Asini. Tall trees hosting several birds, orange trees, vineyards and colourful flowers consist the scenery. The visitor may devote into endless walking, running and exploration of the nearby landscape.
Those who love nature will get excited with the variety of green and the trekking routes that will lead them through fields to the lagoon of Vivari or to the village of Asini crossing Drepano or even by the beach to the glorious Acropole and its ancient King. The most courageous might even climb the hill of Profitis Ilias, the Avgo hill that imposes the whole area.
The region hides many endless beauties and whoever comes for the first time will return, while others may spend here most of their time.
The village of Drepano is only 5 minutes walking and it is full of little taverns and grill houses, a post office, bakeries and super markets. The distance from Nafplio is 7 km (8 min. driving) and approximately 150 km from Athens. You may come either using the National Road from Athens to Tripoli, following the signs directing to Nafplio, or you may direct to Epidavros through Corinth Canal (Isthmos) and keep driving through Lygourio, one of the most picturesque itineraries.
