Beach in Plaka
The beach in Plaka is situated in a close distance from Maria’s Filoxenia Suites | Filoxenia Apartments (3 min. walking) and is one of the beaches near Nafplio. Its main characteristic is the diversity of sand and pebbles while it is well organized, as you will find hotels, rented rooms and campings that can satisfy every demand. The owners of the accommodation have taken care so as their suggestions cover you and your family. In some cases there is also the possibility of access for people with special needs. If you like to enjoy the delicious food and the regional fresh fish, there are family fish taverns almost on the beach, while you may enjoy your cool coctail at the cafeterias and beach bars on the beach. Generally, the beach is suitable for families with young children, and also for those who love fishing at the rocky distant spots nearby.
Kastraki beach
The Kastraki beach , is the prolongated beach of Plaka in Drepano and it is at the archaeological site of Ancient Asini Acropole, at a really close distance (3km) from our hotel. It concerns a small bay on which there are the impressive Mycenean Walls that make the scenery very picturesque and interesting. It is worthwhile to visit this little bay with its calm and clear waters, to enjoy the surrounding space and to admire, at the same time, the magnificence of the ancient beauty.
Beach in Ag. Nikolaos (Kondyli)
The beach in Ag. Nikolaos (Kondyli) is in 7 km from Maria’s Filoxenia Suites | Filoxenia Apartments. It is one of the most picturesque beaches of Argolic Strand, passing through the little fishermen village, Vivari, among the small traditional taverns and following the magical itinerary with the incredible view of the sea. It is entirely unaffected by humans, having sand and pebbles on most of its surface, while it has rocks and sand in its depth. It is ideal for infinite moments of relax, enjoying the endless blue of the sea and is suitable for scuba diving into its deep blue waters. Alongside there are beach bars, offering cool beverages and quick snacks and many deckchairs and beach umbrellas for you and your family.
Psili Ammos Beach
The Psili Ammos beach in Tolo, is within 3 km from Maria’s Filoxenia Suites | Filoxenia Apartments. Its main characteristic is the thin sand, as it is declared by its name, in all its wide surface and the small rocky island Coronisi opposite. The beach is well organised with deck – chairs, beach umbrellas and open – air music halls and is offered to those loving water sports. Bussinessmen there offer every kind of equipment, while its shallow waters and the special sandy nature give the opportunity for infinite games to young children. During summer it is full of tourists, as Tolo is a cosmopolitan place with intense night life, fishtaverns and hotels on the beach and many touristic shops, getting thus the fame of an internationally known resort.
