Surrounding area
The centre of Drepano Argolidas is only 5 minutes walking from Maria’s Filoxenia Suites and it is full of taverns, grill houses, specialized in meat, but also restaurants with all kind of food for every taste, bakeries, super markets and pharmacies. The distance from Nafplio is 7 km (8 minutes driving) and about 150 km (1 hour and 30 minutes driving) from Athens.
Athens – Drepano with a car
You may come either using the National Highway, Athens – Tripoli, following the signs directing to Nafplio, or get directed to Epidavros through Corinth Canal (Isthmos), going on through Lygourio, which is another suggestion for a picturesque itinerary.
Drepano Argolidas with a bus
There is also the possibility of public transport by buses running on hourly timetables from Athens to Nafplio, with starting point ”Ktel Argolidas” in Kifissos Bus Station.
Athens to Drepano Argolidas with Suburban Railway and bus
For those coming by plane, the basic stop is the international airport, Eleftherios Venizelos in Athens. From there, if you wish to transport using public means, you can get the Proastiakos Railway train reaching Corinth and then use the bus routes to Nafplio, then to Drepano.
